The ALF project is pleased to announce the upcoming Summer School on Logical Reasoning and Law, organised by the Public Law Research Centre of the University of Lisbon, one of ALF’s partner institutions. This academic programme will take place from 17 to 27 June 2025, in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation.
This year’s Summer School offers participants an intensive and in-depth exploration of the intersection between logic, legal reasoning, and legal normativity. The programme brings together distinguished academics from ALF partner institutions and beyond, providing a rich platform for critical reflection, theoretical engagement, and academic exchange.
In addition to the core lectures of the Summer School, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the VII Lisbon Annual Meeting on Legal Theory, scheduled for 27 June 2025, which will address the theme “Logic, Norms and Legal Decisions.”
These events will feature contributions from prominent legal theorists and provide a valuable forum for academic and scholarly exchange.
