Belgrade Legal Philosophy Week 2025, organized within the ALF (Advancing Cooperation on the Foundations of Law) Horizon project was held during the fourth week of November (25-28) 2025. As every year, it brought together senior scholars, early-career researchers, and students in a rich, multi-day program dedicated to contemporary issues in legal philosophy and theory. Hosted by the ALF leading institution- University of Belgrade Faculty of Law, the week combined several complementary events: the IVR Serbia Work in Progress Conference, the ALF Senior Scholar Conference, the ALF Junior Scholar Conference, and the ALF Student Conference. Together, these events strengthened international academic cooperation, reaffirming Belgrade’s role as an important center of legal-theoretical research.

Across its multiple events, ALF Belgrade Legal Philosophy Week 2025 demonstrated the Faculty of Law’s commitment to fostering international scholarly dialogue, supporting early-career researchers, and advancing theoretical inquiry into the foundations of law. By integrating senior, young, and student conferences into a single academic week, the ALF Project reaffirmed the vitality and diversity of contemporary legal philosophy in Belgrade.

Participants from eight countries took part during the ALF Belgrade Legal Philosophy Week including Italy, Portugal, UK, Poland, Spain, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. More than 20 scholars and 25 students from 10 universities presented their work during these events including, among other renowned institutions, ALF partners- University of Lisbon, University of Genoa and University of Surrey.
